Hornavan Hotel beautifully situated by Lake Hornavan

The hotel is newly built and opened the gates in the middle of January 2009. We have 52 rooms, with 8 suits adapted for disabled.
You will also find a relaxation area and gym with magnificent views, a restaurant and conference rooms for large and small groups.

The hotel is named after Lake Hornavan, Sweden's deepest lake. It is 226 meters deep, stretches 70km from Arjeplog society to Jäckvik and has almost 400 islands.

The municipality is to the surface the country's fourth largest with an area of 12.945 km², which represents the total area of Skåne and Blekinge. Only Kiruna, Gällivare and Jokkmokk is larger.
The population is 3097 persons (31/12 2008), of which about 2,000 live in the community. That means 0.3 people per km². If we compare that to Stockholm, it would live around 50 persons there.
